The Olympic dream doesn't happen over night and those aiming for a place in London 2012 are already swimming, running and biking every day in the hope of bagging one of those highly coveted medals. Every athlete faces challenges in training, but what does it really take to keep that personal Olympic flame burning when the going gets tough?

Watch Olympic hopefuls Helen Tucker (who has recently won the world Triathlon Championships in Vancouver,) and Ritchie Nicholls, talk about what it would mean to them to stand on that podium in four years time with a gold medal around their neck. They also explain why they have chosen the ultimate challenge of Triathlon and what it will take between now and then to win.
