Hi everyone, we're going to start with some questions about the Pepsi Max Downloaded competition, starting with Julian, who wants to know: "how much would the winner be involved in organising the gig?"

Danann Breathnach said:

Basically what is unique about this competition is that we are giving more or less 100% control to the winners entering the competition. It's basically a crash course on how to stage a concert because you will be involved on a one to one level with the artists in their performance, in the staging of the gig, in the styling of the artist and in the publicity and the security. But we also want to let you know not to be daunted by the task because the Pepsi Max team and myself will be guiding you through it.

Sophie wants to know:

When are the gigs taking place? In the evenings/weekends or anytime? It's just that I work and won't be home before 6pm but would really like to enter.

D.B said:

You need to be around for the whole week of filming. But the idea is that you are trying to get everyone you know involved, including your boss and your work colleagues. If you win, I'll be turning up on your doorstep on the Monday and you'll have five days to organise the show which will be on the Saturday and then on TV on the Sunday.

A Moderator said:

Sophi's also told us that she really really likes Girls Aloud and so has asked "is it possible to select the band you prefer?"

D.B said:

Yes you choose which artist you want to download and you can enter a few times if you want to give yourself a better chance.

Pete wants to know:

My mum's quite a fan of Westlife and would quite like to enter, can you be any age to enter?

D.B said:

Yes, you can be any age to enter.

Ralph wants to know:

"What if the neighbours complain about the noise?"

D.B said:

Why not invite your neighbours to the gig? However, it doesn't necessarily need to be in your garden. It could be anywhere in your town, we want your suggestions!

Justin wants to know:

"What can I do to give me a great chance of winning?"

D.B said:

Firstly you need to enter by texting and then you need to come up with a great idea for putting on the show.

Jo wants to know:

What is your favorite band that's taking part?

D.B said:

Girls Aloud, for five reasons!!

Jenny wants to know:

What are your fav bands?

D.B said:

I've recently downloaded David Bowie onto my ipod and I like that Amerie song 'One Thing'. I like bands like Les Savy Fav too.

Alex wants to know:

And on the subject of organising gigs, Alex has asked Dannan: "What's the best gig you've ever been to?"

D.B said:

There has been so many of them. But the one I always go back to is The Cure when I was sixteen, they played for three and a half hours.

Robin wants to know:

Which star are you most looking forward to meeting?

D.B said:

Natasha Bedingfield as I've never met her. I've worked with Westlife before, so it would be good to meet up with them again.

Patsy wants to know:

How did you get into TV?

D.B said:

My mother sent my CV in to RTE which is the BBC of Ireland. It was kind of like a Blue Peter type show and I didn't get the presenting job but they took me on as a researcher and then over the years it went from researcher, to reporter to presenting.

Gail wants to know:

What's your favorite reality show and why?

D.B said:

I don't really watch the reality shows. This is like a unique spin on the reality genre.

Claire has asked:

Can I enter the competition in a group with some of my friends or do we have to enter individually?

D.B said:

Everyone can enter individually. You should all enter to increase your chances of winning and then if one of you win you can work as a team.

Jamine wants to know:

How do we enter the competition?

D.B said:

Buy a can of Pepsi Max, Regular Pepsi or Diet Pepsi and follow the instructions on the can/bottle. Basically, you just text your name, age and the artist that you would like to download along with a unique number that will be on the can/bottle. Everyone that texts has a chance to win something, including mp3 players, signed merchandise or stuff for your mobile.

D.B said:

The first one is this Friday and then in August and September. Don't know the dates so you have to watch every episode!!
